Setting up your email in Microsoft Outlook 2007 Print

  1. In Microsoft Outlook 2007, go to "Tools" > "Account Settings".
  2. Click on the "New..." to create a new email account.
  3. Tick the "Manually configure server settings or additional server types"
  4. In "User Information", key in your name and FULL email address.
  5. In "Server Information" > "Account Type", select POP3.
  6. In "Incoming mail server" and "Outgoing mail server (SMTP)",
    enter mail.yourwebsite.com
    (substitute "yourwebsite.com" with your ACTUAL website address).
  7. In the "User Name" field, enter your FULL email address (e.g you@yourwebsite.com)
  8. In the Password field, enter your password.
  9. Tick "Remember password".
  10. Then click on "More settings".
  11. Go to "Outgoing server" tab,
    tick "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".
  12. Go to "Advanced" tab, change Outgoing server (SMTP) port
    from 25 to 26 and click OK.
  13. Click "Finish" to complete the process.
