Mentioned in The Malay Mail - Thanks to Robert!

Got an SMS from Robert this morning. He told me that The Malay Mail did a story on him in the CyberSpot section.

The biggest surprise was when I looked it up - he was so kind to mention us in his interview! He didn’t have to, you know, that’s his interview with the Malay Mail but Robert is always looking to share his publicity with everyone.

So yes, Redbox Studio gets a lovely mention as I’d been egging him to start a blog. (Actually when we visited him in Kuching 2 years ago, we made him sign up for a blogspot account then and there in his study room! I know, we are pure evil…. for a good reason-lah).

Come to think of it, I seem to egg everyone on to start blogs. For instance, I’m promising Jana (best friend and Majlis Daerah Kuala Langat local councillor who is doing an amazing job for the local community by the way) to help her start a blog so she can publicize local issues instead of waiting for the newspaper to come report them.

The benefits of blogging far outweigh any disadvantages - what’s there NOT to like about blogging if you can write? I’ve benefited greatly from it, from getting blog consulting jobs to writing for overseas newspapers and making new friends and getting new clients!

But it’s hard work and needs oodles of passion.

Anyway, find out what blogging has brought him by reading Robert Raymer’s interview with The Malay Mail called “Revisiting Tales”.

The things he has gotten out of blogging!

Amazing!
