Changing Into New Skin

 

As you can see, we’ve redesigned our website a bit to reflect who we are, right now. This new look also goes hand in hand with our 10th year anniversary which we are celebrating this year.

Of course, more changes will be in store as we slowly add on and embellish our website as it is still a work-in-progress. But that’s the best part of being online - you can change anything you want as you grow your business, unlike say, a brochure. A brochure takes time to be changed and re-printed but a website reflects changes immediately.

Our old website was much too full of content that wasn’t organised properly…. that old website was designed a few years ago and back then, the focus was still on designing websites. While we have not changed our focus, we have sharpened and honed our direction and this is shown in our new website.

Designing websites is still our mainstay but we are also moving into focus areas which allow us to help clients who want to use their websites as distinctive marketing tools. A website is not just a website; it can be an extremely powerful tool if you know how to use it, and use it well the guerrilla way.

That’s what we are gearing up for anyway. Over the years many clients have approached us to help to advise them about starting out online and we believe that this is the way that we would like to grow. After all, 10 years is a long time in this business. Fads come and fads go but sound business principles also endure.

And that’s why a website built on sound business principles always win.

We also realised that not everyone is our client. While it come across as being picky, we only want clients who understand that we are here to help them grow their business (because if you look at the testimonials that we get, we do help people grow their business in ways they could not have imagined).

We don’t want clients who don’t want to be helped. That’s our mantra these days. We cannot help everyone so we will only help those who are keen to be helped and want to listen.

It’s actually a relief to come to this conclusion because we can now evaluate prospects based on how suitable they are for us and if this is something that we want for the long term. If it is not suitable, we decline. Not because we don’t like earning their money… we want a solid resume of clients who we can be totally proud of.

If your website is looking tired and worn out, it’s time to do an overhaul….. and in the process, you can find out what you do best and what you want to continue doing and what you don’t want to do any more. That’s called self-discovery…..
