19 Tips to Rev Up Your Business Networking Island Hopping

Krista and I are big fans of Japanese food, particularly sashimi. We used to frequent Tsurunoya at The Mutiara Resort, Teluk Bahang for its value-for-money Sunday buffet whenever we felt like having a leisurely Japanese brunch. But it was a full 45-minute drive to Teluk Bahang!

Nowadays we have found a place closer where we indulge in our Japanese cravings - at the Kampaichi, Hotel Equatorial which is just 5 minutes’ away.

We took our staff for a Japanese brunch there last Sunday - we’re lucky that Sinyi enjoys sashimi as much as we do too! As usual, Kampaichi was packed with people.

Here’s Krista and Sinyi having dessert - we forgot to take photos during our major sashimi pig-out!

The fresh sashimi here is sliced thickly and there’s a selection of tuna and salmon. At times, the Japanese chef brings out other fish too. After these generous-sized sashimi, the ones we get at the fastfood Japanese restaurants pale in comparison.

Anyway, it was also a good time to take a break after completing most of the clients’ website projects - we had been working hard this month. Everyone deserved pigging out. We aim for something tangible each month and once we reach our target, everyone at Redbox Studio gets treated to something special.
